Easier to digest than cooked legumes, sprouts also contain more enzymes and less starch. This bean takes a little extra rinsing compared to other sprouting seeds to keep moist. Sprout Seed Safety: To ensure you are purchasing the safest possible sprouting seeds, a sample from each lot of sprouting seed we receive is sent to an independent laboratory where it must test negative for foodborne pathogens including escherichia coli (E. coli), salmonella, listeria, and staphococcus aureus (staph).
